KOMBINI

During my last trip to Japan I discovered the existence of a large number of shops open 24/7.

More than 50,000 convenience stores, known as konbini, can be found across Japan.

Visit a city usually it means livin’it during the day and in the early hours of the night.

In Japan and especially in Tokyo, the distinction between day and night disappears.

Accomplice the incredible lighting and the great dynamism, the Japanese night offers a large amount of activities and characters.

A typical example of this “Night life” are the Kombini, small shops open 24/7.

There are several choices: Family Mart, 7Eleven, Sunkus, Lawson and Daily Yamazaki

The main purpose is the sale of foods, especially salads, sandwiches, or the typical bento, ramen and onigiri.

Besides the food you can find different products for all needs, from pens to patches, from toilet paper to umbrellas, from alcohol to cigarettes and not only that: these minimarket offer different services including the ability to send and receive parcels or do photocopies.
